СТАТЬЯ:
The Balkan region, and especially the Western Balkans region, has been an area of constant migration movements and regularly changing national and ethnic groups inhabiting this space since ancient times. It has always been the result of numerous wars, forced resettlements, ethnic cleansing, etc., both in the past and now, and the consequence of which is the current bad economic situation, in this case in Albania and Bosnia and Herzegovina. This trend is inversely proportional to global trends, mainly in the countries of the global south, where we are observing a demographic explosion. However, in European countries there is an increasing decline in birth rates and the phenomenon of mass emigration, mainly economic, in search of better living conditions than in their home countries. The text contains statistical data with appropriate analysis and commentary, and the conclusion contains conclusions based on the considerations contained in the text.
