In this edition of Studia Politologiczne we seek to present the evolution
of the President of Poland’s role over the last three decades, wherever
possible referring simultaneously to the linkage between the functions,
tasks and entitlements of the Head of State and the means of election
thereof. We do this in the company of a group of authors hailing from
the country’s outstanding centres of political science – researchers who
have spent years exploring the issues surrounding the Head of State in
a more in-depth way.
