Celem artykułu jest uzupełnienie koncepcji dyskursu deliberacyjnego jako przesłanki legitymizacji zaangażowania biznesu w sferze publicznej. W artykule zaproponowane zostały dwa rozwiązania łagodzące słabości idei deliberacji: koncepcja hipernorm, nawiązującą do teoria społecznych kontraktów T.W. Donaldsona i T. Dunfee’ego oraz zasada zróżnicowania uprawnień interesariuszy. Rezultatem badawczym jest próba odpowiedzi na pytanie dotyczące stosowalności zaproponowanej przez J. Habermasa koncepcji deliberacji, która jest wykorzystywana przez badaczy CSR.
