ABSTRACT
The article provides a summary of knowledge relating to strategic analysis – a tool
of security strategic planning process. It explains the conceptions of analytical
methods, starting from the classical outputs, at the theory of complexity ending.
The first part contains overview of method used under the process of security
strategic planning in political practice of state. Second part is a proposal of use
the taxonomic methods in order to identify critically important, strategic problems
of security as a base to build a strategic thrust of processes and events observed
in internal and external state environment. The third section describes how to
adopt theory of complexity, in particular theory of fractals to lead the researches
in area of security.
