ABSTRACT
The research is devoted to the analysis of formation processes in Ukrainian opposition
in conditions of military and political crisis. An individual emphasis has been made,
analyzing the influence of military and political crisis on agenda forming in the sphere of
oppositional political powers. There is an examination in the field of Ukrainian specific
character concerning reformatting of political parties depending on the political crisis in
the country, in other words – reorientation of political powers, leaving former ideals and
formation of coalitions with former opponents. Complex analysis is suggested, as well as
methodology of a new phenomenon in transformational development of Ukraine – “partner”
(situational) and “universal” (collective) opposition. The given separation is stipulated
by lack of institutionally arranged opposition with distinct rights and responsibilities in
Ukraine, hence it stands as a situational majority with power, making the important laws,
or it stands as a collective image of all the political powers, which are by many reasons
are not part of coalition having power. The given oppositional tendencies may exist sideby-
side and stand in a position of confrontation with each other. It is being concluded and
proved, that Ukrainian political opposition being in conditions of military and political
crisis, turns out to be even more unable to develop strategic decisions than authority.
