ABSTRACT
The main stages of the development of the institution of judicial constitutional control in the Republic of Belarus, the peculiarities of the competence of the Constitutional Court, the current state of constitutional legality are examined in the article. The subject of the study is separate decisions of the court, its legal positions, and also assesses the legal status of judges of the Constitutional Court. In the end, proposals are made to improve the legislation in this area.
